Tiny Tots and Tunes

I am so excited Luke and I got to participate in Tiny Tots and Tunes this summer. Last summer we missed out due to being out of town, but we made sure our schedule was available this year and are so glad we did. Luke really loves music and has so enjoyed the class. His teacher, Miss Holly, is wonderful and just has the sweetest personality and voice. Each day we've had new songs to sing and instruments to play...she even got the parachute out, which is oh-so-fun! To top things off, Luke's buddies Avery, Rachel and Pierce were signed up too...what a mess! Granted there is a lot of running around and not necessarily staying right with mom to listen the whole time, but that's the joy of it being a toddler class! On the last day they celebrated with oodles of fun including a petting zoo, jump house, bubble class and of course a music session for daddies to come and see what we've been learning. It was precious and I can't wait for another music class for Luke, he certainly enjoys it!

*Disclaimer: Sorry in advance for mom's loud voice overshadowing the video.

Parachute fun!

The petting zoo...very intrigued by these little critters.

Avery showing Luke how to feed the animals grass.

These two...so sweet!
A little basketball break, which he loved. I could do basketball...football, uhhh...we'll see.
He jumps....sort of!
We all fall down!

It's all in the name

Well, not really, but it is pretty important. As with Luke Sawyer, we are having a hard time coming up with a name for our little fella on the way. However, with Luke's name, we just threw it out there and both liked it...this time, we're having a bit of a harder time. Here are the names that have been thrown out there...Ross may or may not agree with some of these, but they have been suggested by either one of us or a friend/loved one. To make it fun, I am putting up a name poll to see your thoughts, so let us know, it will be interesting! Also, if you have a boy name you just love and want to share it, feel free to leave your comments, we love ideas.

Schools out for summer!

The balloon that flew over our house the other night, Luke was so excited.

School's out forever! Luke and I had our last day of school on Thursday. It was bittersweet because I'm not going back next year with peapod due early October and having two, I just thought it best to make a clean break. I'm really excited to stay home with Luke this summer and then with our new little one once he's here. I'm sure there will be trying moments to say the least, but I know there will be many more cherished memories.
So to kick off summer we headed to Austin (ps, wouldn't that be a cute boy's name?!) for Will's 3rd birthday party. It was so fun seeing how excited Luke was to see Will and Lauren. There was a train ride and then a great time at the park. Sadly, I forgot to charge the camera batteries, so until I get pics from someone else, I don't have any to post. But we had fun visiting with everyone and got to see a lot of family and friends.
Today we headed to the splash park with Nate and Avery (and their mommies). It was a lot of fun, but a lot of work. I think we ALL are going to take naps this afternoon to recover from the fun that was had. Here's some pics of the great time we had and we look forward to a lot more summer fun!

"What is this?"
"Seriously. Where is the water going?"
"Works for me, let the fun begin!"
"Safety in numbers"
Avery having a blast...of water that is! She loved it!
Best Buds taking a break. This is about the sweetest thing ever!
