Last weekend I took my first trip to an amusement park. I visited Seaworld and saw so many interesting creatures. M0m and I went with Nana, Papa and Gigi while Dad was on a boys trip. I think we had way more fun. Mom even convinced Nana and Papa to ride Journey to Atlantis! I had a fantastic time, but I was tuckered out by the end of the day.

Ain't nothin' but a hound dog
I've discovered my mom really gets a kick out of dressing me up. As a boy, this is not my forte. I usually prefer just a diaper, but she insists on lots of clothes and so called "cute" outfits. Well, I think I've drawn the line at this "Halloween" excuse to dress me up. At least it won't ever happen again...right?!

Dog Days
Some of you may be wondering how our first "fur" child is doing and she is good. However, it seems anytime I'm away from her she makes a trip to the vet. I think it's her way of getting back at me for abandoning her.
So the last trip I took was a great girls trip to San Marcos and San Antonio and what did I come home to?
This:
Taylor had an ingrown hair in her back paw. It took two shots, antibiotics and special cream that had to be inserted into the wound (YUCK), but she and dad and Luke all survived! Only this dog!
Oh well, we still had fun didn't we girls?! Thanks to my wonderful hubby who so willingly let me take a gals weekend!

7th Heaven
7 months have come and gone! I turned 7 months old last Wednesday and what a great time it has been.
Here are 7 things you may or may not have known about me:
1. I can sit up now on my own. I still can't always catch myself when I tumble to the side after awhile, but I'm working on that one.
2. I watched the Aggies play for the first time with dad in my new jersey he got me.
3. I got sick for the first time, but it was bound to happen at some point...still, I'm not a fan and hopefully it won't happen again for a long time!
4. I took my first road trip to H-town to see my friends Lauren and Will. It was Lauren's first birthday party, although by the looks of this picture I think I'm bigger than she is. What can I say but I'm a growing boy.
5. I love school and my teachers Miss Linda and Miss Teresa. They take such good care of me and get so many giggles and smiles from me. I also like my friend Jack who is trying to show me how to crawl.
6. I'm a screamer...not because I'm sad or mad, but just because I like to hear myself squealing ALL the time. :)
7. I love patty cake, only with my legs not my arms. I am learning when my favorite part comes which is rolling the dough and let my mom know I'm super excited to roll it out.
Thanks for checking in on what's been going on. I'm getting excited about all these holidays my mom keeps telling me about. Wait until you see my Halloween costume... :)

10. Whose temper is worse? I'm a little fiesty sometimes...it's those natural red highlights coming out.
11. Who does the laundry? Moi
12. Who takes out the garbage? We both do depending on who can't stand it any longer or push anymore trash in the trash can.

"I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him." 1 Sam. 1: 27
On September 9, we celebrated a very special day for our family. We dedicated Luke to our faith and to our church. He is an ultimate blessing from God, that we cherish everyday. We want so badly for him to have a relationship with God who has given everything for us, even when we do not deserve it. On this day, we prayed for Luke to be surrounded in a Christian environment so that he one day he will know what a personal relationship is with Jesus. Thank you to those who shared in our special day, especially the Widmers. We are so blessed to have you as close friends and even more so that we are getting to share raising our children together.

"Avery, do you know what's going on?" Luke wasn't too sure about the praise band,
but Avery liked it a lot.
