Well friends, I went to visit Dr. Jenkins again, with total forgiveness for what transpired after my last visit. Big mistake...I got hit again with those crazy shots! I really thought I had dodged them, but just as we were getting ready to leave (so I thought) in came the nurse and...well, you know what's next. I made it out alive much to my surprise and in case you are wondering here's my latest stats:
Weight: 14 lbs, 12 oz (50th percentile)
Height: 26.5 in (90th percentile)
Mom keeps telling me I'm going to be like Dad, tall and skinny.
Until next time!

On The Block...
We officially listed our house on Primrose Lane today. The for-sale sign is firmly planted, announcing our intentions! We've really enjoyed this house and are sad to say goodbye. We gotta do what we gotta do though, so we're moving eastward into the land of Allen. This will put us closer to work (Ross works downtown) and to our church, The Heights Baptist in Richardson. Plus, I can jokingly tell people I live in Arlen (King of the Hill fans are chuckling right now).

Yankee Doodle Dandy!
Our little dandy of a boy is 4 months old today and what a special day to turn 4 months old. He is at my favorite stage so far...so sweet and so much more social than even a month ago. I hear from other parents that you find yourself saying each month is better than the last, so I'm looking forward to that because there are times I can't imagine it getting any better. Here's a little insight (shout out to the app devers out there) into what our little firecracker has been up to:
1. Wearing 3-6 months, except for most pants and shorts are 0-3. He is getting really big and LONG! We go next week for a check up so I'll post his stats then, but I'm guessing he's around 14-15 pounds.
2. He has given me a couple of laughs which are precious, but still few and far between. He does like to squeal a little and definitely uses his hands and feet when talking (he gets that from dad).
3. He loves his jumparoo. He reminds me of Lord of the Dance and just cracks me up bouncing all over the place.
4. He has had two surprise 8AM mornings instead of 7AM. What a great gift an extra hour of sleep makes!
5. He went to Joyland for the first time and did great. They had a swing, so he was good to go along with Avery. I think they just need to go ahead and reserve those two swings a few more months.
6. Tummy time...well it's better, but not great. He does prefer it with no clothes on and with his fuzzy blanket...who wouldn't? :) Those legs are a kicking when he's on board so I have a feeling that he's going to be a mover and shaker...although now he just rolls over when I put him on his tummy, so this is a fun new game.
7. He is still trying really hard to get "mmm's" out and "ba's" but we're getting there. It takes some hard thinking.
8. He has found a new friend...that likes to play with him on his playmat and take baths in the tub next to him. Luke thinks he's pretty cute but has quite figured out his name yet...this is his reflection, so it's true that he is pretty cute.
9. He's a splasher in the tub, so much for spot free mirrors!
10. He is just getting so cute!! I'm having so much fun seeing his personality develop and finding cute clothes for him...poor Ross (literally)if I don't put a halt to that.
