Great Minds...

Do think alike! At least in terms of fashion and my fellow summer loving gal pals! Imagine our surprise when we all met at Jessica's and were in uniform unknowingly!! Here's a picture for your viewing enjoyment.

Alright, we're all going to dress alike because we want to look like a team when representing. Uniform will be coral tank top with the ever important white tank top layered underneath. Note Jessica and Ashley found the exact same coral top...oh girls! :)
And while the girls took pictures, Luke stared at amazement at Avery's light up star. He was a little freaked out by it, but she kept trying to tell him how fun her star was.

Baby Ross or Luke?

For Andi:
Here is a picture of baby Ross...so cute! This was taken July 1981 so he was 3 months old which is Luke's age now. Check out those cute cheeks!

"Why is dad so orange? He looks like an Oompa Loompa!" and to that
I say thank goodness for digital pictures!!

Father's Day Fun!

For my dad this year, I gave him a really awesome gift! A weekend at the lake while I stayed with Nana and Papa. I'm getting so big that I was ready for a couple of nights without mom and dad. At first I was a little apprehensive (or at least mom was, I told her I was to make her feel better), but I had a blast. I figured out I didn't need to sleep swaddled anymore and that I like the swimming pool. Nana and I just talked and talked and talked, and Papa and I did what we do best, just hung out together. Mom and Dad had a lot of fun, but I think they were really ready to see me. It was a great weekend for all of us. I'm so thankful for my Dad, he's my hero and I can't wait until I'm big enough to go to the lake and ride the tube just like him!

Uncle Jesse doing his trademark thumbs up (and he's even a Red Raider, go figure). Isn't it awesome that I have my own Uncle Jesse...rock on!
Dad and Uncle Jesse showing off their pythons.

Alright Papa, if you're ready I'm ready!

Was that Jaws I just saw swim by?! I'm almost certain it was!
Oh mom, do I really have to wear this big umbrella hat?

A souvinier from Nana...I have lots 'o fun in my jungle jumparoo!

I can touch my toes!

I've been a busy bee and yesterday I found a great toy I can take with me everywhere! My feet! I even have special booties (dad's approval level is 0%) that rattle so I can really go to town. Kicking has become my new favorite pastime as I can't get enough. Whoever invented feet knew exactly what He was doing. I wonder what else they are used for...oh well, for now, strictly fun!

And here they are...what cute little tootsies!
Decisions, decisions...feet or hanging blue monkey?
Not me, I wasn't doing anything.
As you can see I'm a perfect angel.

Here comes Peter Cottontail - Part 2

Seems that Ross & I have sent a memo out to all critters in the surrounding area that our place is baby haven. Not only did we get the same birds nest from last year rebuilt in the same place (strategically over our back door, not the safest for stepping out for a fresh breath of air), but a mommy bunny decided to pick one of our back bushes for her labor and delivery room. Nice.
Being that I couldn't bear the thought of them not making it we had to ship Taylor the beagle to Austin to hang out with her Nana for a couple of weeks until the babies were old enough to leave the nest. Seems like they are out and in full force....probably going to make more baby bunnies. Ross has a plan of action to barricade the back yard, we'll see who wins. Long story short, here's some pictures of a really cute baby bunny!
The scene of the crime, the mother bunny dug a hole underneath this huge bush.
And why wouldn't she? Here's the sign telling her she's arrived at the bunny hotel...note to self, take down advertisement for bunny lodging.
Here's one of the bunnies that is venturing out...be gone long one!
Just some prespective on how tiny he or she was... cute, but no more baby bunnies at Casa Moshell.

Now I'm a rancher!

This past weekend I made my first trip to Aunt Bunny and Uncle Larry's ranch. What a fun place, mom and dad said it's one of their favorite places to go. I saw a whole lot of cows who really just cared about eating more than talking to me. Also I met my great-great grandparents for the first time. Mom says I'm extra special to have great great grandparents because not many people do. We took a 5th generation picture so I will always remember meeting them for the first time. On top of all the fun I got my very own Radio Flyer wagon. All the boys in my family have gotten one from Pawpaw Hill through the years and now it was my turn. I can't wait to fill it up with my toys and take off. I had so much fun I can't wait to go back. They said next trip I should be ready to start water skiing at the lake, guess I'm off to get fitted for my first pair of skis!

5 Generations: Mimi, Papa, Mom (Back Row), Granny Hill
and PawPaw Hill in the front.
Checking out the view with Uncle Larry and David. I think I'm going to like David and will probably drive him crazy wanting to do everything he does someday.
Granny Hill showing me my big boy wagon, now I really have to
work on sitting up by myself.
I sure do like my Granny Hill and my new wagon.

Mom taking me for a ride in my new wheels...I'm in there somewhere.
Hanging with my best bud...I don't know why Dad just didn't hop in with me.

Fun in the Sun!!

This past weekend I went to Austin for my friend Will's 1st birthday party. We are exactly 9 months apart, so he's good at giving me a heads up on everything. This weekend he taught me to never use a certain kind of baby sunscreen...it makes your eyes hurt even when it's not supposed to. I'll remember that one for sure because it made him and cousin Lauren super sad. However, once eyes were washed clean we had a lot of fun and I can't wait for the next party...hopefully by then I can help them open presents which seemed like a lot of hard work, but well worth the trouble!!
This was the day Will was born a year ago! I wasn't even on my way yet, but Lauren was!

Will and Aunt Holly...both of them super sad about the sunscreen, but it got better!

Will in his birthday crown before the birthday cake!
All I can say is I can't wait!

Lauren is definiteley a Daddy's girl. One day we'll all go to A&M together, look out!!

Letting my best colors shine through. I think Lauren is worried Aunt Holly was pinching me, but I was just getting tired from all my socializing! :)

I say, who's that hiding behind that wagon? It's Heath! Aunt Heath!
(to the tune of the Spartan Cheerleader chant).
See any similarities? Papa and I were tuckered out after all that fun.

I'm 3 Months Old!

These three months have flown by, he's getting to be so big and cuter by the second!

Yay!! I've officially been here for 3 months and what a blast it has been. Here are my top ten likes and dislikes.
What makes me cry (or a little sad):
10. Waking up from my naps. I do ok waking up in the mornings and tend to just hang in my crib a little, but naps are a different story. I feel as if I'm wasting away my day in there.
9. Sitting in my car seat for too long, I don't like confinement.
8. Putting on my sandals. Yes they are cute, but they limit my kicking which is top priority.
7. Missing my naps. Granted I don't like waking up from them, but when I get a little tired, I sure do like snuggling in my bed and going to sleep.
6. Coming out of my warm bath. Brrrrrr!!!! Thank goodness for my fluffy towels that make me warm again. (My Gigi even fluffs them in the dryer for me so they're extra warm, am I spoiled or what?)
5. People leaving me to play by myself for too long. I tend to get a little bored, so I like lots of interaction and variety.
4. Having shirts pulled over my head...annoying. Everything should be button down in my opinion.
3. Having to wait for my bottle to be made...I really sometimes think I might have to eat my own arm off.
2. Tummy time. Please give me the name and number of the doctor who said I needed to do this...not a fan in the least.
and that leads me to...
1. Rolling over! Yes, I rolled over for the first time for mom and Aunt Amanda, but it scared me to death. I feel as if it's abnormal and it's a whole other reason I don't like tummy time.

On a much lighter note, here what makes me smile:
10. Showing off my mad kicking skills. One might think I am going to be in the rodeo someday with all the action of my kicking.
9. Bath time, especially getting my head washed...nice!
8. My A&M paci
7. Grabbing my toys and putting them in my mouth...tasty!
6. The t.v. - mom always turns me away from it, but sometimes she catches dad and I in our favorite chair watching a cool flick.
5. Getting a good nights sleep. I am sometimes the happiest of the whole day when mom comes to get me in the morning.
4. Strolling at the mall. It's so relaxing and I get to see my friends when I go!
3. My swing, it's awesome!
2. Anyone who wants to talk to me. I do love talking. Mom has even caught me just talking away in my crib before I go to sleep.
1. Mommy and Daddy - we're all best friends and I get so excited when we get to hang out. They have even kept me up past my bedtime a few times, just so we can play a little longer.

Talking to my Grandpa Willie, he's so funny. He and dad are always talking about cool ways to analyze data...mom thinks that's an oxymoron, which pains dad!

Being silly and sticking out my tongue. My poor bear usually ends up with his ears in my mouth. What a cute belly button!! I haven't yet figured out the purpose of it.

I sure do love my swing and my toys...good thing my friend could play with me in it.
